Rebecca Turner has over 18 years experience in the energy business, on both the regulated and unregulated side. Her current responsibilities at Entegra include managing the company's state and federal regulatory and lobbying activities as well as transmission planning for the company’s two generating assets, Gila River Power and Union Power Partners. Prior to her current role at Entegra, Rebecca was responsible for the company’s energy management services, which included revenue forecasting and market analysis for Entegra’s generating assets.

Rebecca’s prior experience on the regulated side of the energy business included 12 years with TECO Energy’s regulated electric company, Tampa Electric. During her employment with Tampa Electric she gained a wide range of experience in a number of areas including generation planning, regulatory affairs, dispatch and energy control, transmission planning, and, relaying and control systems. 

Rebecca received her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Florida in 1987 and her Master’s of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1988, with her Master’s program emphasis in Power Engineering and Control Systems.
